Hate is such a strong word..

Today, while paying a visit to my favorite blogs, I stopped at Style Rookie. Her latest post was about an article written by Tanya Gold about why she hates fashion. And to be honest with you, I couldn't have said it any better than Tavi.

This woman hates fashion for reasons directly related to adolescence and the pressures of growing up, not the pressures of fashion, because true fashion reminds us to be who we want to be. I'm all for open-mindedness and freedom of speech or whatever, but while reading this article I could only think about how it was bull.

So please, read this article, and tell me your thoughts! :]

A Month of Looks.

Thank goodness. I'm really only waiting for Thanksgiving. I would like to apologize for the lack of outfit posting within the past two weeks or so. I have a tonnn of posting to do. But right now I'm obsessing over Anthropologie shoes.

I'm like thoroughly obsessed with each pair. They have a vintage vibe, no? :]

Crunchy Leaves & Crisp, Cold Air

It's finally fall, down south :] I'm very happy, it gives me the urge to cuddle up with a cup of hot cocoa and put on fuzzy sweaters. I lovesss it. Haha. So uhm, I was having a funky week last week and didn't take any pictures of my outfits :/ So I'll probably just post Polyvore's of them or just pictures of the outfits on a flat surface. But I did take pictures today!

In other news, on Friday I went to the thrift store with some friends and lucked upon a vintage SCALA beaded gown. Freaking gorgeous. It's a dream, and it fits perfectly. Guess how much I paid for it?! $5.
